Daily Check-ins
Ten seconds a day. How do you feel? Over time, this simple habit reveals patterns wearables miss.
Your Oura Ring knows your HRV dropped. It does not know you feel sharp despite the numbers. Sometimes your readiness score is green but you feel off. Wearable data captures what your body is doing. Check-ins capture what you experience.
Over time, comparing your subjective check-ins with objective data reveals patterns that neither source shows alone.
How it works
The check-in form appears on your dashboard. Each day you record:
- Mood on a 5-point scale: Awful, Bad, Okay, Good, Great
- Energy on a 5-point scale: Exhausted, Low, Moderate, High, Energized
- Notes (optional): free-text context, up to 500 characters
Takes ten seconds. Once submitted, a confirmation card shows your entry. You can edit your check-in any time during the day.
One entry per day
Each check-in is tied to a calendar date. If you submit multiple times, the latest entry replaces the previous one.
Where your data goes
Check-in data feeds into your weekly reports and helps calibrate the insight engine's understanding of your personal patterns. It is stored in your personal database partition, never shared with third parties. See Privacy & Security for details.
